STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS: For valves on this page.

Ambient/Media Temperature: 40° to 175°F (4° to 80°C).

Flow Media: Filtered air; 5 micron recommended.

Inlet Pressure: 5 to 150 psig (0.3 to 10 bar).

Signal Pressure: Must be equal to or greater than inlet.

Port Threads: NPT standard, BSPP. For BSPP threads add a “D”

preﬁx to the model number, e.g. D1868A3005.

Quickcylinderreversalcanbeaproblemifthecontrolvalveisatadistancefromthe

cylinder or otherwise restricts the exhaust ﬂow. A ROSS quick exhaust valve near the

cylinder opens as soon as the controls valve begins exhausting, and thus allows quick

reversal of the cylinder.

ROSS shuttle valves have two inlets and one outlet. The ﬁrst inlet to be pressurized

is connected to the outlet, and the second inlet is then closed. Thus, a pneumatic

device connected to the shuttle outlet can be operated by either of two control valves

connected to the shuttle inlets.

Automatically blocks one inlet passage when

pressure is applied to the secont inlet. Pressure

to either inlet is channelled to one outlet port.
